David Bowie with Scottie Dog 1980 by Brian Duffy

David Bowie with Scottie Dog 1980 by Brian Duffy

from 325.00

Museum quality print of David Bowie from the official Duffy Archive.

Taken from the original 1980 negative, these official Duffy Archive prints are open edition, authenticated with the official Duffy Archive estate stamp.

This rare image of David taken by Duffy was unreleased until it was published in the Five Session book. The contact sheet revealed the Scottie Dog walking in during a meeting regarding the “Scary Monsters” photo shoot and sitting in the chair next to David. The location and story behind the image is pieced together with very limited information adding to the mystery and intrigue of the picture.

It has become a firm fan favorite and the most popular of the behind the scenes images shot by Duffy.

Available in one size only, prints are pre-mounted to the highest quality with a choice of white or black mount. The second image shows how the finished print looks with a black mount, and the third with a white mount.
