David M. Spindel
In November of 1980, New York photographer, David M. Spindel was awarded a location assignment that would forever change the face of his career. Spindel arrived at The Hit Factory completely unaware that he would be photographing John Lennon and Yoko Ono who had hired Spindel to photograph their Double Fantasy recording sessions, giving Spindel unique and exclusive access on the last day of recording what would be Lennon's last recording. The rest is history. Subsequently these incredible images have been published in numerous books, and licensed for cd's, videos, documentary films, and posters.
