As a boy Robert collected stamps. “Pouring over those tiny illustrations, I would be transported to exotic, colourful, far flung parts of the World, never imagining I would ever be able to travel to them”. But it was a passion for images of a different kind - photography and film – that took him to more countries than he can name.
In an age when the traditional craft skills of photography are barely remembered, when everyone has a camera in a phone, Robert’s passion for creating interesting original content, beautiful composition, with an eye for detail, is undiminished.
Robert won a gold award at the Association Of Photographers for the album cover, which took two weeks to create. The art direction was by Storm Thorgerson with the beds being arranged by Thorgerson's colleague Colin Elgie on the beach at Saunton Sands in Devon, England.
