Run-D.M.C. were an American hip-hop group from Queens, New York, best known for bringing rap into the mainstream with their bold style and hard-hitting beats. With iconic tracks like “It’s Like That,” “King of Rock,” and their groundbreaking collaboration with Aerosmith on “Walk This Way,” they fused hip-hop and rock in a way that changed popular music forever. Combining streetwise rhymes, minimalist production, and signature Adidas style, Run-D.M.C. became cultural icons and trailblazers—helping to define the sound, look, and attitude of modern hip-hop.
