BILL LEISSNER

Bill Leissner shot over 3500 rolls of film in Austin in the 80s, covering everything from the mosh pits of punk gigs to local politics and the theatre scene. In 2016 he began the process of digitizing his 100,000-image archive, and his book “Austin Icons Of The Eighties : Music, Theater and Politics” is a great snapshot of Austin life back in the 1980s.
