What We Do

Modern Rocks Gallery is a curated collection of music and pop culture photography showcasing signed limited edition prints obtained direct from the photographers themselves. The prints are made from the original negatives, or files created from the original negatives. Photos are hand signed and numbered by the photographer, or stamped by the official photographer’s estate posthumously. Printed to the highest quality on archival papers.

    Fine art photography is highly collectible, based on quality and rarity. Modern Rocks hosts some of the biggest photographers in the industry, alongside smaller independent artists. Subjects range from iconic photoshoots and album covers to rare early looks at international stars.

    The majority of our selection is limited edition, hand-signed, and numbered unless otherwise stated. These are as valuable as they are exclusive.

  • We work directly with many of the photographers and work hard to bring you unique and exclusive collections featuring rare and previously unseen images. If you have a particular band or image in mind, and you can’t see it on our website, please feel free to contact us as we have a vast network of photographers worldwide, so we may be able to track down something specific for you. ine can make all the difference.

  • Prints are made to order. Expect a delivery time of 4 weeks from purchase, or slightly longer with framing services.

  • To ensure the longevity of your art print, we recommend careful handling, storage, and display practices. The best way to preserve your print is to frame it, using archival methods with acid-free papers and UV protective glass.

FRAMING

Our framing service is provided by a reputable, local professional custom framer here in Austin, Texas, with the finished framed prints being shipped by courier with sufficient packing.

These images are an example of the framing we offer to add to your print purchase. Prints are framed in a classic museum-style frame using archival techniques. This consists of a 3" white matt, high-quality black wood surround, and conservation clear, UV-protected glass, or non-glare museum glass as options. We are also happy to work with you if you need something different, like an alternative color frame, or no matting.
