Whilst working in an industrial darkroom, David Corio began freelancing for the NME and worked for them on a regular basis from 1979 till 1984 getting to photograph Bob Marley, Jerry Garcia new unsigned bands like U2 and The Birthday Party. He worked for The Face, Time Out and Black Echoes and was photographer, music listings and nightclubbing editor of City Limits in the early eighties. He also took portraits for the Telegraph, The Times and The Guardian.
