DUSTIN RABIN
For over 30 years Dustin Rabin has been documenting some of the most influential artists in rock music and has been fortunate enough to have rare access to them on and off stage.
In 2011 Paul McCartney asked Dustin to photograph a leg of his North American tour as well as some private rehearsals in 2017. He’s worked regularly with Dave Grohl and Foo Fighters since 1995, and had the honour of being the only photographer with Nirvana during rehearsals for a one-night-only performance celebrating their induction into the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame.
Dustin’s work has appeared on the cover of Rolling Stone and in the pages of countless CD and DVD packages, magazines and books worldwide. Not to mention the personal collections of many of the artists he’s photographed.
Born and raised in Victoria, BC and currently based in Toronto, Canada, Dustin Rabin continues to photograph musicians, while keeping busy as a Unit Still Photographer in Film & TV.

Dustin recalls: While Dave was doing some solo acoustic songs, Taylor sat on the floor behind his drum kit, waiting to get back out there. He was used to me be around with my camera, and didn’t even notice me taking this one. I’ve always loved this photo. Even more so, now.

Dustin recalls: I've known Josh for a while now, and he's always been gracious with me. When I was out with Them Crooked Vultures, he made a point of telling me how happy he was that I was there to document that tour, because it's something he'll to want to remember forever. Because of that, I feel comfortable grabbing unique moments like this one during sound check, where Josh stepped out onto the arena floor to have a listen. Not long after this photo was taken, that room was packed with close to 20,000 fans.

Dustin recalls: When B-Real exhaled, the thick smoke lingered, trapped in his huge afro wig. I waited for him to take a step forward, hoping it would do exactly what it did.
