Five people in a room with yellow patterned curtains. One woman with red hair and a red sweater sitting on a chair. One man with curly hair and a leather jacket sitting next to her. Two other people, one with short blonde hair and a suit holding a teacup and saucer, and another with dark hair and a leather jacket, are standing and talking.

NEW ORDER

New Order emerged from the ashes of Joy Division following Ian Curtis’s death, combining post-punk moodiness with electronic and dance music. With tracks like “Blue Monday” and “Bizarre Love Triangle,” they helped shape the sound of '80s synthpop and club culture. Their fusion of technology and emotion made them pioneers of modern electronic rock.
