THE POLICE
The Police were a British rock trio formed in the late 1970s, blending punk energy with reggae, pop, and new wave sounds. Fronted by Sting, they achieved massive success with hits like “Every Breath You Take,” “Roxanne,” and “Message in a Bottle.” Their crisp musicianship and global appeal made them one of the most successful bands of their era.

“Relaxing before a gig, Sting, Stewart Copeland and Andy Summers were in high spirits. They had already cracked America and were now claiming Britain with much glee. The music press had trashed the The Police a year earlier by accusing them of jumping on the punk bandwagon.”

Signed limited edition print of The Police by Barry Schultz. The Police playback in the television studios for the pop music show Rock Planet in Amsterdam for Dutch TV, back in 1979. This was their first appearance in Holland.
