Signed fine art photograph of Diana Ross by Alan Messer, taken at EMI House, Manchester Square, London, July 1970
Alan recalls, “Diana Ross was in London to promote her first solo album (after the Supremes), DIANA ROSS, released June 1970. I attended an EMI Records press reception to meet journalists and get pictures taken. Diana Ross was one the most beautiful women this shy nineteen-year-old had ever met. ("Baby Love” was one of my first 45 singles). The other photographers were taking gimmicky pictures, so I asked her to pose for me. Two decades ago I sent Diana Ross a signed print. I really like this photograph.”
