John Lennon with UFO detector - London 1965 by Brian Duffy.

This photo was taken in 1965 after the Beatles had returned to the UK from playing at the Shea Stadium New York which had been the highlight of their tour.Lennon had picked up this box in a novelty store in New York which had been sold to him as an ‘UFO Detector’, it had lights that went on and off intermittently and he brought to the shoot for the amusement of the studio team.

You can add framing to your print purchase if needed, or simply order the print unframed. Our framing service is provided by a reputable, local professional custom framer here in Austin. Prints are framed in a classic museum style frame using archival techniques. This consists of a 3" white matt, plain black wood surround and conservation clear, UV protected glass. Expect a delivery time of 3 to 4 weeks on orders. We can ship unframed prints worldwide. Your print will be sent rolled in a new, high quality mailing tube with sufficient packing. You will be emailed with a tracking number once your order has been shipped. Framed prints are shipped in a special framed artwork box via FedEx. Unfortunately we're unable to ship framed prints outside of the US.
