Photographer’s notes: The design team Hipgnosis, had two main players - Storm Thorgerson and Aubrey Powell. Po often shot the pictures but he also came on the road during the Dark Side Tour and had a close relationship with the band. Only friends and family were allowed backstage - record company people were rarely allowed and the press, never.
